Chip Mercer, DDS
Dr. Chip Mercer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2002. After graduation, he practiced in Marshall, Texas for two years. In 2004, the Mercer family relocated to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Dr. Mercer is a native of Irving and graduated from MacArthur High in 1993. He is a 1998 graduate of Lamar University where he played baseball for the Cardinals and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He spent one year in minor league baseball before beginning his dental career. Dr. Mercer has been married since 1998 and has two children. The Mercer family is involved in church, school and athletic activities.
Dr. Mercer maintains numerous memberships in professional organizations. He is an active member of the Fort Worth District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. We are extremely excited to announce that Dr. Mercer has recently earned certification in the Dr. Chao Surgical Regeneration Surgical Technique. He is also recognized as a Top Dentist by Leading Physicians of the World.
William Saunders, DDS
Dr. William W. Saunders graduated from Texas Christian University in 1967 and continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he graduated with a dental degree in 1972. From 1972 until 1974 he served our great country at the USAF Hospital, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, as a general dental officer. He was honorably discharged while holding the rank of captain. In August, 1974, he started his private dental practice in Arlington, Texas which he has maintained since that time. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Dental Implant Dentistry.
With his commitment to dental excellence Dr. Saunders has over 500 hours of continuing education with a strong emphasis on treating advanced dental disease. He is highly skilled with surgical procedures and utilizes dental implants to help create a functional and beautiful smile
Dr. Saunders and his wife, Betsy, have two grown children, Brian and Kelly, and is a proud grandfather of 5. Whenever he is away from the office, he enjoys fishing, hunting, working on his ranch, and team roping.
Rachel Zimmerer, DDS
Dr. Zimmerer was born and raised in the small town of Lindsay, Texas. She’s had a passion for healthcare since a young age, which led her to pursue a Nutrition degree at Texas A&M University where she graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Zimmerer then headed to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. As a dental student, Dr. Zimmerer earned many accolades including being a member of the Odontological Honor Society as well as Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society. Dr. Zimmerer graduated on the Dean’s List, proving her commitment to academic and clinical excellence.
Beyond her achievements as a dental student, Dr. Zimmerer furthered her passion for providing the best quality care to her patients by completing additional training at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. After completing her advanced education, she decided to move back to her home state of Texas. Dr. Zimmerer is married to her dental school sweetheart, who specialized in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Zimmerer prides herself in educating her patients on treatment options and taking the extra time to make sure they are comfortable and that their healthcare needs are met with the highest level of integrity and quality. Her calm, approachable and caring demeanor is sure to make you feel at home.
Morgan Petty, DDS
Dr. Morgan Petty is a general and cosmetic dentist who strives to provide optimal care for her patients. Native to Texas, Dr. Petty grew up in Dripping Springs. Her passion for dentistry lead her to attend Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Petty moved to Dallas and received her doctorate in dental surgery from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. After dental school, she made the decision to call Dallas home.
Dr. Petty is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. She continues to enjoy learning and applying cutting-edge techniques of dentistry. As a practitioner, her focus is on maintaining open communication and positive interaction with her patients. She is passionate about serving her patients, and providing the very best care.
During her time away from dentistry, Dr. Petty enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new cuisines, reading, and traveling.
